Bletchley Park
Bletchley Park is a historic site in Milton Keynes, England, that played a crucial role in World War II. It was the central site for British codebreakers during the war, including the famous team who cracked the German Enigma machine.
Bletchley Park’s work was so important that it is thought to have shortened the war by two years and saved countless lives. Today, Bletchley Park is a museum open to the public, offering tours of the site’s various buildings, exhibitions on codebreaking and wartime life, and the opportunity to see a fully operational reconstruction of the Bombe machine that was used to break the Enigma code.
